Description: The Pricing Basics seminar has been developed to help our women entrepreneurs understand the basic fundamentals of pricing and selling goods. This seminar includes a thorough discussion of topics including: cost of goods sold, initial wholesale mark-up, secondary retail mark-up, operating expenses, living expenses, profit, basic business negotiation skills and turn-around time. In this seminar, a variety of learning tools are incorporated through role-playing. This has helped our women entrepreneurs to utilize the information that they learned in lecture by applying it to an "everyday" situation via the role-playing. This seminar is important for the women to partake in as it teaches them vital skills needed to maintain their businesses.
