	Doris is one of the founding employees of the hand-made paper project for Global Mamas in Wa.
		Description: Doris left her hometown of Tom in the Nandom district of Upper West Region because her parents never sent her to school. She wanted to pursue something more than being a small-scale farmer's wife in her village, so she traveled south to Techiman to learn soapmaking. She hopes that in working in partnership with Global Mamas, she can maintain a long term job and support her two children. Having lost her husband to illness, she is grateful for the opportunity to learn a new trade so that she afford to send her children to school, a chance she never had. close window
