Description:
Accomplishments:
Erin assisted WIP in many areas: - Provided suggestions in design/rewrites for Ghanaexpeditions.com and handcrafting section of GM website.
- Fair Trade workshops and follow-up site visits.
-
- Helped with social networking on the Twitter site.
- Assisted as liason between US designer Liz and seamstresses making products for her which was shipped on GM's August shipment .
- Research on potential grants and grant organizations for GM to apply for
- Began work on organization of Batik swatches.
Highlights:
Erin felt that her experience in Ghana has helped her become much more open to other people and cultures. Things that frustrated her at the beginning of her time in Ghana became natural to her after 3 months. These things included walking slow and speaking in generally indistinguishable English!
