Description:
Sarah was tasked with writing an article about our production cycle. She interviewed staff and researching what is involved in the production process from initial design ideas to the product being shipped. She also interviewed new Mamas for website biographies. This involved visiting the women at their homes or work places and gathering information about their involvement in Global Mamas and their life outside of work.
Achievements:
- Completing a detailed article on the production cycle..
- Writing a separate article focusing on one part of the business: batiking; and one batiker in particular: Mary.
- Interviewing and writing up 14 biographies to be used on the website.
- Modeled for our 2012 catalog!
Highlights:
Sarah enjoyed finding ways to communicate and form relationships with each of the women she interviewed in a short space of time so that she could get a proper feel for their experience as a Global Mama and therefore write as honest an account as possible for their website biography.
